Privacy

This is a personal website. It has no cookies, no analytics and no ads, and it doesn't try to find out who you are.

When you visit

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel's servers process your IP address and basic technical details, such as your browser and the time of the request, to deliver the page and keep the service secure.

The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

The homepage remembers, only while your browser tab is open, that you've already seen its opening animation, so it doesn't play twice. That's a single "seen it" flag in your browser's session storage. It says nothing about you, never leaves your device, and disappears when you close the tab.

When you write to me

The form on the Contact page doesn't send anything to this site. It opens your own email app with your message filled in, and nothing leaves your device until you press send there.

If you write to me, I use your email address and message only to reply. I don't add you to any list, and I'll delete our correspondence if you ask.

Legal basis

Serving the site and answering your emails is based on legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): a website can't be delivered without processing a visitor's IP address, and a reply needs your email.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data I hold about you by emailing lorenzask@kvantra.ai. If you think I've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
